The TP-Link Tapo C246D is an innovative security camera with two 2K (3 MP) lenses, designed for comprehensive video surveillance of your home or business premises. The wide-angle lens with a 125° field of view continuously monitors a wider area, while the motorized telephoto lens enables Pan/Tilt monitoring and a close-up view of important details. Synchronized Smart Detection & Tracking technology ensures that the PT camera automatically turns toward detected motion, enabling effective monitoring of events with minimal blind spots.

The camera is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, as it features an IP65-rated housing that is resistant to rain and dust. It offers color night vision with three built-in spotlights and infrared illumination up to 12 meters. Built-in artificial intelligence recognizes people, vehicles, and pets, and detects line crossing, a baby crying, a dog barking, a cat meowing, glass breaking, and tampering with the camera. It also supports RTSP and ONVIF, so it can be connected to network video recorders (NVRs). Recordings can be stored on a microSD card with up to 512 GB of storage or in the Tapo Care service.
