The TP-Link RE200 V5 is an affordable dual-band AC750 Wi-Fi extender designed to improve wireless coverage in your home or small office. It operates simultaneously on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands and achieves a combined wireless speed of up to 750 Mb/s —up to 300 Mb/s on 2.4 GHz and up to 433 Mb/s on 5 GHz. This effectively extends Wi-Fi to areas where the router’s signal is weak or nonexistent.

A key advantage of the V5 version is support for TP-Link EasyMesh, which allows the RE200 to create a unified Mesh network together with a compatible router. This allows users to connect to a single Wi-Fi network name, and Smart Roaming ensures seamless switching between access points for compatible devices.

Setup is very simple—pressing the WPS button on the router and the RE button on the extender connects the devices without any complicated configuration. The built-in signal LED helps you find the optimal installation location where the connection to the main router is strong enough.

The RE200 can also be used as a wireless adapter for devices without Wi-Fi connectivity. Using the built-in 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, you can connect a TV, game console, desktop computer, Blu-ray player, or other wired device to the network. Access Point mode is also supported, allowing the RE200 to create a wireless network via an Ethernet connection.
